Grassroots Support for Disaster Victims

There are Sites like this one springing up all over the Internet. Private philanthropy is a wonderful characteristic of our citizenry.

This Site happens to be the work of a family friend; he's thown together a donation Site to supplement the work of his daughter and her friend who set up a lemonade stand at to begin a grassroots fundraising drive. Over the weekend the two nearly reached the halfway mark of their $500.00 goal!

Please visit and lend a hand via the Salvation Army's relief program. Think your donation doesn't matter?

A $100 donation to The Salvation Army will feed a family of four for two days, provide two cases of drinking water and one household clean-up kit, containing brooms, mops, buckets, and cleaning supplies.
